Introduction
Healthy U’s main goal is to institute a healthy lifestyle for its clients, by way of supply of healthy goods and information on healthy living and wellness. Healthy U boasts of being the first in East Africa to introduce products that are geared towards leading a healthy lifestyle. The company has managed to understand fully the general retail trends in Kenya, thus ensuring we are always years ahead of any potential competitors.
The Hub branch of Healthy U comes with a lot more in terms of health products and services. The Hub branch has:
• A dairy/lactose free smoothie bar,
• Bakery section
• Loose tea section
• More concentrated and enhanced Nutrition Consultation
• And more of the dairy free products frozen and chilled products for example yoghurt and ice-cream.
This is in addition to the other products that Healthy U stocks across its branch network, that is food supplements ranging from vitamins, body building, herbs, tinctures, superfoods in form of juices, powders and tablets, flower remedies etc. We also have a wide variety of specialty foods like gluten free and lactose free, whole foods, cereals, dried fruits, seeds, raw nuts, baby foods and natural cosmetics.
The retail department under which Hub branch falls also has a section that specializes in decor items and homeware items in some of the branches. The aim of having this section is to add the concept of holistic lifestyle to our clients, so as to complete the approach of leading a healthy and fulfilled lifestyle. The items include scented candles, candle holders, vases, lanterns, lamp shades, artificial fountains, wall art etc. Out of this, Healthy U makes customized gift hampers to meet a client needs. The healthy foods and/or supplements can also be incorporated in a gift hamper if a client so wishes.

Company History
Healthy U 2000 Ltd has been in operation since 1985, starting off as a small family retail business. It now boasts of 23 retail outlets in East Africa, mostly in major shopping malls.

With the continued growth in retail trade and middle class income in East Africa, we have a strategic expansion plan regionally.
